Armenia: Rosa Linn will “Snap” her moment in Turin

Last weekend, we finally filled out the entire list of participants, which are now set to take part in the competition, here in less than 2 months time. However, not all songs were released, but today we take another step on that end and we are now one step closer to knowing all songs as well.

About the Selection

Armenia was first fully confirmed as a participating country, when the EBU released the full list of participants, for the upcoming contest. Armenia is also usually very silent about their selection process, and even more when it’s done internally.

This was the case for this year, the Armenian national broadcaster (AMPTV) opted with an internal selection, amid their return to the contest. Armenia withdrew from the 2021 edition, due to the aftermath of the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war.

Now that Armenia is back, it was officially announced last week, the young and upcoming female artist Rosa Linn would be the one to represent the country.

At the same time, it was also announced that the song would be revealed at a later point, and that is where we are now. The song and it’s details had already been handed over to the EBU during the Head of Delegation meeting which took place here in mid-March, which is all that is needed, to avoid any fines for not having a song ready by the time. However, according to the rules, song submissions can be revealed at a later point, which is exactly what the Armenian broadcaster has made use of.

Rosa Linn‘s song is titled “Snap” and it’s finally officially released and can be heard right below.

With that, Armenia becomes the second last country to reveal their song for the contest and at the same time, the last country to reveal their song amongst the countries that will participate in the first semi-final. Armenia will compete in the second half of said semi-final.
