After all the rumours in the past couple days, ERT (Greek national broadcaster) has just revealed that the band Argo will be flying the Greek flag in Stockholm this year!
Argo is formed Europond, Greek band that we already reported that could represent this country at the 61st edition of Eurovision Song Contest check out here. Europond is the band that consists of seven members, and due to Eurovision rules it is shortened and it is Argo. We will try to find out why ‘Argo’ insted of ‘Europond’.
Members of Argo are: Christina Lachana, Maria Venetikidou, Vladimiros Sofianidis, Kostas Topouzis, Ilias Kesidis and Alekos Papadopoulos.
Rumour is suggesting that the lyrics will be about refugees and the migrant crisis.
No further details have been revealed by the ERT, we are expecting more details in the forthcoming days.
