Despite recent rumours to the contrary, a spokeperson for BHRT has exclusively revealed to ESC United on social media that dialogues about Eurovision 2015 within the broadcaster will begin to take place after the FIFA World Cup.

We don’t have the information right now cause all of our resources are focused on the World Cup. As soon as the World Cup is over we’ll get on to Eurovision 2015. And then you’ll have the information.

Recent articles and rumours from across the internet suggested that Bosnia’s return in 2015 would be unlikely due to financial difficulties and the recent stresses of the country due to flooding, but it appears the broadcaster remains spirited about the contest and a return has not yet been ruled out.

Bosnia and Herzegovina last took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, when MayaSar sang “Korake ti znam” in Baku, finishing 18th. Their best result to date was with Hari Mata Hari in 2006 where the country finished third. Bosnia had never failed to qualify for the final of the contest during their participation.
