With NeonoeN’s recent withdrawal from Eurovision 2025, the audience was left wondering who will represent Montenegro at Eurovision 2025. Today, we finally got the answer! Following a decision by Radio and Television Montenegro (RTCG), it has been decided that the second-placed Nina Žižić will take the stage in Basel with her song “Dobrodošli”.
Speaking about the decision, RTCG press spokesperson Antonela Martinović shared optimism about Žižić’s participation.
“Nina Žižić will represent us in the best possible light in Switzerland. RTCG will fully support her journey to Eurovision, promote music, and fulfill all necessary obligations to the European Broadcasting Union,” said Martinović.
She also highlighted the broader significance of this year’s Montesong festival. “Montenegro is richer with 16 new songs, and this is something we should celebrate and focus on,” she added.
With Eurovision only months away, intensive preparations are already in motion. Žižić and her team will focus on refining her performance, promotional activities, and ensuring all technical and logistical aspects are in place.
“Much work lies ahead, but RTCG will stand by Nina every step of the way,” Martinović assured.
