Day 3 sees the first rehearsals for Semi Final Two. Another expectedly diverse line-up from all the corners of Europe. The eight countries rehearsing today are: Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, Czechia, Austria, Denmark and Armenia.
Please take into consideration that all the information we gathered is from the Eurovision Live Blog, the images released by the EBU and the Tik Tok 30 second video clips and are not fully reflective of what we actually see on stage from each country.
🇲🇹 Sarah Bonnici has got us on a Loop! Malta kicks off the Day 3 rehearsals.
Bonnici is wearing a sparkly silver bodysuit and sporting the most luscious, healthiest-looking long curls. She is backed by four male dancers decked out in leather jackets and trousers, giving us a hint of S&M. They appear shirtless by the end of the clip. Bonnici has fine-tuned and elevated her performance from the Maltese national for the Eurovision stage, yet it still features her signature body flip, splits and hair whips all aided by her acrobatic dancers.
Bonnici’s soulful and rich vocal are expectedly on point, even when she is singing lying on her back. The LED backdrop colour scheme ranges from green to red to white, for it to all finish off with pyro and white smoke. A truly great semi final opener!

🇦🇱 Albania’s Besa is next with her epic song Titan!
Besa is wearing a shiny skintight turquoise and black top and bottom get up, with prominent pointy shoulders and a rope delicately draped all over her body. Joining her are two backing singers and three dancers in nude bodysuits. Its so nice see the re-emergence of backing singers this year.
The vocals sound out-of-this-world and we expected no less from Besa. There is a lot imagery in the surrounding LED, which features what looks like the face and bodies of the dancers. There’s lot of drama and a lot of feeling here, all attributed to Besa’s supreme performance.

🇬🇷 Its time for Greece to roll the dice with Marina Satti!
Marina is bringing the sass and the attitude we all saw and loved in her official video for ‘Zari’ . Marina is sporting a cut-out top coupled with a purple shiny puffball skirt, paired with black heeled boots. She is accompanied by backing dancers – three male, one female – who join Marina to fuse precision street dance moves with traditional Greek elements.
The vocal and the rap sound sharp and its all backdropped by colourful and energetic graphics. From the clip we gage that this will be more of a televisual feast with more close-up camerawork. We are only getting the tiniest of tasters of whats to come. Cannot wait to see the whole thing. Go Marina!
