Sometime last week, we got the grand announcement and now with the current week soon over, we have all 7 songs finally available. Finland are hungry for revenge, and 7 hopefuls are duking it out, in order to follow in Käärijä‘s footsteps, and maybe one of them could climb one step further and bring the trophy back to Finland. Let’s have a quick overview of our 7 hopefulls.

UMK 2024 – All songs

Finnish broadcaster (Yle) has over this week and last week revealed all 7 songs one by one, over each weekday. Friday midnight Finnish time, we got the very last one, and now viewers and listeners can dive into all 7 songs in one go, in order to decide, who is best fitted to represent Finland in Malmö.

As a quick reminder, Finland managed to score an overall 2nd place finish last year in Liverpool, when Käärijä started to “Cha Cha Cha” on stage. Thus becoming only the second Finnish act ever, to finish inside top 5, in the country’s very soon to be 60 year long history. Never ever had a song performed in fully Finnish, managed to end this high and even became the absolute televote winner of 2023.

Last year’s result has been a constant reminder for the Finnish broadcaster, that a victory is indeed possible and hence we have the seven lucky acts right below, for #YOU to watch (ordered by release date):

Cyan Kicks – Dancing With Demons

Sexmane – MANIA

Sara Siipola – Paskana

Jesse Markin – Glow

Windows95man – No Rules!

Sini Sabotage – Kuori Mua

Mikael Gabriel x Nublu – Vox Populi

If you’d like a quick recap of what Finland is offering this year, the competition has 3 songs in English, 3 songs in Finnish and 1 song that’s a mixture of Finland and Estonian. One of the acts already tried their luck back in 2022, which is Cyan Kicks, who finished as runner-ups back then. They are also the only band participating, while we have 2 duo acts and the remaining 4 being solo acts. Finally, the is a good mixture of genres, in order to entertain anyone who’ll be watching.

Finland’s national final will take place on the 10th of February 2024 and the winner and representative will be found through a mixture of both jury and televote.

Now that we have all the songs from Finland, which one do #YOU prefer and who do #YOU believe will end up representing them?
Let’s hear from #YOU on our forum site right HERE, or visit us on Facebook, X(Twitter), Instagram, Youtube, TikTok and Discord.
