Aftonbladet is continuing its revealing of possible Melodifestivalen acts from their sources. According to these sources, it is likely that SVT Melodifestivalen will reveal the acts by the end November.
But, Aftonbladet has revealed nine possible acts from their sources already, the most recent being 2 weeks ago. This week, the magazine is revealing three more acts; one who has already competed and two who are looking to make their debut.
Paul Rey is looking to be set to return to Melodifestivalen after taking a break this year. He competed in 2020 and 2021 progressing to the final on both occasions through the Andra Chason (Second Chance).
Tennessee Tears are looking to make their debut, and are according to Aftonbladet sources. The duo have wrote most of their music in Tennessee and are now signed under previous Mello winner Jill Johnson.
Finally, duo Elov & Benny are looking at debuting as well. The duo may have formed in 2008 but they have taken over TikTok recently and begun to consistently move towards the top of the chart. They perform a form of pop referred to as Epa music and SVT are looking to have this form of music according to sources.
Aftonbladet have so far revealed Wiktoria, Nordman, Loulou LaMotte, Theoz, Emil Henrohn, Marcus & Matinus, Panetoz, Melanie Wehbe and Smash Into Pieces and now have added Paul Rey, Tennessee Tears and Elov & Benny. Aftonbladet’s sources are often good at predicting who is participating in Melfest each year.
Furthermore, tickets went on sale for Melodifestivalen at the start of the month. The tour of Melfest is back around Sweden with tickets for the final starting at 335kr (~£32). This is the first time that the tour returns since 2020.
The Melodifestivalen participants will be revealed by SVT at some point soon.
