Eurovision 2020 and 2021 alumni Montaigne and Daði Freyr have announced a collaboration and teased the new song, “Make Me Feel So…” on social media.

The Australian art pop star and Icelandic electronic hit maker have teamed up on the song, due for release on May 27th and can now be pre-saved on Spotify and Apple Music. A teaser and potential snippet of the song was released this afternoon, complete with a looping animation, seemingly in a video game art style.

The song will be the fourth post-Eurovision release for both Montaigne and Freyr, with the former having collaborated with legendary Talking Heads frontman David Byrne on “Always Be With You”. Montaigne performed the song at Australia Decides earlier this year.

Montaigne was due to represent Australia in 2020 and subsequently sung for the nation in 2021, failing to qualify with “Technicolor”. Daði Freyr followed a similar path with Iceland, finishing 4th with Gagnamagnið and “10 Years” in Rotterdam.
