As mentioned in our article yesterday, the band decided to release the video with a background instead of the official music video, because of the current situation in Ukraine. Hopefully they post their happy and colorful music video in the future
About Circus Mircus
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s Circus Mircus from Georgia! Circus Mircus was formed in Tbilisi, Georgia by three local circus academy dropouts at the end of 2020. Despite leaving academy, they didn’t cease to entertain the audience (virtual) by releasing 10 music videos in less than a year. Circus Mircus encompasses myriad of genres, intricately reflecting the inner world and the life experience of the each band member. The cornerstone of their philosophy lies in the complete neglect of musical frameworks.
Little is known about this trio of circus dropouts from Georgia. Their announcement as Georgian representative mid-November was accompanied by the following message:

So that’s all you need to know about Circus Mircus before the contest ! Hopefully we find out more about the band when the circus starts in Turin.
Georgia in Eurovision
Georgia has joined the Eurovision family in 2007 and participated in every edition since then. Sofia Nizharadze (2010) and Eldrine (2011) achieved the 9th place for Georgia, their best place in the contest. They never won the Eurovision Song Contest, however they already won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 3 times. Will 2022 be the first time that they will win the adult version?
Georgia was represented last year by Tornike Kipiani. After winning Georgian Idol, he was selected to represent Georgia at the Eurovision Song Contest 202o entry “Take Me As I Am,” but due the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak the contest got cancelled. Luckily, Tornike Kipiani got a second chance to fly the Georgian flag at Rotterdam in 2021 with his song “You.” His performance of “You” in the second semi-final on the 20th of May, he finished 16th with 16 points. Sadly, this meant he didn’t qualify for the Grand Final.
