Prepare to have your Saturday plans cancelled for the next few months… Eurovision season is well and truly in swing and tonight we have a real treat for #YOU – France kick off their much-hyped national final Destination Eurovision!
Nine acts will perform in front of a large studio audience, a local jury, an international jury and the viewing public of France at home, as they fight to make the final of the selection on January 27th.
The nine participating acts and their entries are;
- Masoe – Paradise
- Noée – L’un près de l’autre
- Lisandro Cuxi – Eva
- Malo’ – Ciao
- Emmy Liyana – OK ou KO
- Enéa – I’ll Be There
- Pheno Men – Jamais sans toi
- Louka – Mamma Mia
- Ehla – J’ai cru
Each act will also perform a cover of a popular song to showcase their stage prescence and vocal ability. The Francophone jury of Amir (France 2016), Isabelle Boulay and Christophe Willem will judge, alongside the international jury of heads of delegation; Sweden’s Christer Björkman, Italy’s Nicola Caligiore and Belarus’ Olga Salamakha. Televoting will be introduced in the final.
Popular French-Canadian singer Garou will be the host of tonight’s show.
