Romanian broadcaster, ProTV, who are hoping the EBU will allow them to take over as the Eurovision broadcaster of Romania, have began a petition to pass to the EBU in hope of allowing Ovidiu Anton to compete in Eurovision 2016.
The petition was created yesterday and has already attracted over 7000 signatures. If you wish to show your support for the Romanian participation in Stockholm you can sign the petition HERE.
Romania were set to take part in the 2016, with Ovidiu Anton taking part and winning the national final, then embarking on a promotional tour until the EBU decided that they could no longer take part in the 2016 contest due to the face they had a €10,000,000 debt to the EBU.
