The ‘exciting news’ the EBU mentioned yesterday was not what many people assumed it would me. It is not a change in the contest, it is in fact the announcement of a Eurovision Museum being created in the ABBA museum.
The museum will be opened on the 7th of May and will consist of 60 years worth of footage and information in which visitors can have an interactive view of the contest. The idea came about through a mix of ideas from former ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus and EBU Executive Supervisor, Jon Ola Sand.
The 2016 winner will be invited to the Museum to insert an item from their performance to the museum, on Sunday the 15th of May
