Today, YLE, had a big announcement to make regarding UMK 2016, the show that will select the Finnish representative for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
The announcement that was made is that the hosts for this year’s national final will be no other than the 2013 Finnish representative Krista Siegfrids, alongside Roope Salminen who hosted UMK 2015.
The actual finalists will be announced on the 12th of January 2016 during a presentation show, prior to the actual live shows for UMK beginning in February.
Many Eurovision fans will know Krista from when she made a name for herself in Eurovision history for her girl-on-girl kiss during her performance on the Malmö during the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest when she performed her entry “Marry Me”.
