The first round of rehearsals are less than a week away so let’s have a look at the favorite songs of 2015. This is a combination between our own Panel of judges and our readers who were able to vote in our weekly game.

Just like in Eurovision, the public vote will decide on who wins, in case of a tie. The results were quite interesting, have a look.

So Slovenia is the combined favorite, followed by Norway and Estonia. Sadly, neither the jury nor the readers were impressed by San Marino, putt them in last place.

Let’s take a look at the biggest disagreements:

Belgium: Our readers put them in the Top 5 but the panel disagreed and thanks to their average ranking, dragging it out of the Top 10. I guess our jury doesn’t have the Rhythm inside. A difference of 14 positions is quite significant.

United Kingdom: Once again, the panel was more harsh than the viewers, this time with Electro Velvet’s Still in love with you. The difference in this case is 11 positions.

Serbia: Bojana was doing okay with the panel but the readers did not quite see it that way. A difference of 11 positions (16 vs 27) is nothing to laugh at.

Hungary: That’s a big OUCH. The difference couldn’t be much bigger. The jury thinks it’s Top 10 material while the readers says it belongs in the bottom 5. A difference of 29 positions is painful so an overall 20th place is better than nothing.

FYR Macedonia: A 28th place with the panel and 17th place (11 positions) with the readers, this could go either way for this nation in Vienna.

Denmark: The panel liked this one way better. A 16 position difference….so the readers caused this one to drop in the overall ranking.

Austria: The biggest discrepancy of the year between the jury and readers is the host nation. The Makemakes finished in the panel’s top 10, yet the readers put it in 2nd to last. That means a difference of 31 positions, that must hurt (or feel good depending on your point of view).

Czech Republic: It has become a grower among the fans but the jury was not too impressed. A difference of 14 positions is significant for the returnee.

Cyprus: Another love or hate kinda song. Even the juries and readers among themselves disagreed. In the end, the panel helped John to climb a few spots, thanks to their 12 position difference.

Malta: The Maltese song has a loyal group or supporters which helped Amber to climb to 22nd in the reader’s poll. However, the panel did not share the love and the 12 position difference causes Malta to drop in the ranking.

We’re curious, do you agree more with the readers, the panel or the overall results? Share your thoughts with us. For now, let’s listen to your favorite song again.
