She won’t be taking to the stage but Eurofans will still get their Monetta fix in 2015!

It seems that Valentina, San Marino’s Eurovision star and big fan favourite from 2012-2014, is expected to be a part of Eurovision for a record fourth year in a row… but as a spokesperson this time!

According to Songfestivalweblog, the native Sanmarinese singer who took her country to the final last year will announce the all-important points from the microstate to an audience of millions. This means that Michele Perniola and Valentina Monetta will be swapping places between 2014 and 2015.

Perniola is set to represent San Marino this year alongside Anita Simoncini. Both singers represented the country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and will be looking to secure San Marino’s second final in a row in the adult version in May.

Update: On Feb 2nd, Valentina Monetta stated that she has not been approached personally about becoming the spokersperson for San Marino in 2015. That doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen but stay tuned as we keep you up to date on the progress.
