2018 Breaking News Latest News United Kingdom United Kingdom: Songs out tomorrow, teaser posted on Twitter By Sean Tarbuck Posted on January 23, 2018 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr The BBC have out of the blue confirmed that the United Kingdom’s six hopefuls will be revealed tomorrow on their Eurovision website, doing away with the traditional reveal on the Ken Bruce show on BBC Radio 2. In a tweet sent out from the official BBC Eurovision account earlier this afternoon, the British national broadcaster confirmed that the songs vying to represent the UK in Lisbon would be revealed on Wednesday 24th January. The tweet was posted alongside a teaser video from the show’s Swedish co-host and Eurovision 2015 winner Måns Zelmerlöw, who was filmed listening to the entries through headphones. The singer describes some of the entries using descriptions such as “interesting”, “Ed Sheerany”, “very hooky” and “clubby” – all words that I’m sure could excite and terrify the long-suffering British Eurovision fans in equal measure! Tomorrow… we reveal our six @Eurovision You Decide songs! Until then, enjoy a sneak preview from our host @manszelmerlow 🇬🇧🎧🎶 #Eurovision pic.twitter.com/c2WAjz6uor — BBC Eurovision (@bbceurovision) January 23, 2018 Strong rumours and links to the competition would suggest that two of the participants are eclectic vocalist Rachel Clark and Britain’s Got Talent 2013 finalist Asanda who allegedly has some “exciting news” to tweet about tomorrow.
