The popular artist was in discussion with Cypriot broadcaster RIK to perform for Cyprus at Eurovision 2018, however the “Unloved” singer cited a busy touring schedule which overlapped with preparations for the contest and the live shows themselves. It now seems that the hot favourite to represent Cyprus is Christieana Chatziordanous, who attempted to represent Cyprus in 2015 as part of a duo with Maria. She is also the winner of Bulgaria’s version of The X Factor, beating Bulgarian runner-up and newly-crowned EBBA Public Choice artist Kristian Kostov. An announcement from Cyprus regarding the participant for Lisbon is expected in a few days, so not long now to wait for the hype to kick in! Who do #YOU want to see represent Cyprus in 2018?
