TONIGHT: Spain picks a wildcard for Objetivo Eurovisión

Who doesn’t love a wildcard? From the granting of a favourable draw to a random pre-qualifier in the early days of Eurovision semi-finals (god bless you Verka Serduchka), to some questionable jury qualifications in the early two semi days (the jury’s still out, Charlotte Perelli) and even to stirring up some major controversies in recent German shows (god bless you Andreas Kümmert; TV magic), it has certainly added to the drama in recent years over here in Eurovision world.

And guess what – we’re being treated to more wildcard joy tonight! God bless you, Spain!

Tonight, one of three acts will be thrust into the limelight of Spain’s selection for Kiev following the Eurocasting concert in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid. The show will be broadcast live through TVE’s online portals, with online voting deciding which of the three acts will make it to the final of Objetivo Eurovisión in February.

The acts fighting for this golden opportunity tonight are;

Javian – No Somos Héroes

Fruela – Live It Up

LeKlein – Ouch!

Tonight will also see which acts have been selected by TVE to fill the rest of the places in the national final.

We will be on hand to provide details of the result and which lucky artist progresses, so make sure #YOU stay with us!

Which of the three deserves the wildcard place? Share your thoughts with us below or on our forum!
