Norway: Return of International Jury For MGP

Who will follow in the footsteps of Agnete? and represent Norway?

The Norwegian TV channel have announced that they are in it to win it in 2017! They want to replicate the success of Bobbysocks and Secret Garden by bringing back the international jury to their national final. The international jury was used in 1985 and 1995 when Norway won the Eurovision Song Contest.

It has been stated “What we’re doing this time is to involve an international jury. We put over 10-12 countries in Europe under the Norwegian ESC final to select the right track” The countries and exact amount of countries has not yet been revealed, but NRK are certainly hoping that the formula will bring them success once again.

Submissions are open for those wishing to represent Norway in Ukraine. The submission deadline is the 11th of September.
