2015 Czech Republic General Interviews Marta & Václav (Czech Republic): “To sing or not to sing; To win or not to win” By Zack Kerr Posted on May 13, 2015 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr Marta Jandová and Václav Noid Bárta marked the return of the Czech Republic and closed out Day 3 of rehearsals. “Hope Never Dies” is a fitting song title as many hope to see the Czech Republic in the Grand Finale for the first time, particularly given that we saw the debut of two countries last year (Montenegro and San Marino). Marta & Václav rock the vocals out. Trying to make their marks on the stage may have hindered some of the chemistry that we are sure is there. But we are optimistic to see the Czech Republic make a statement return to Eurovision and obtain their best result ever. We are schedule to interview the Czech Republic representatives on Saturday. Until then, please enjoy the footage from Marta & Václav’s Press Meet and Greet. You can easily see how easy going and fun these two are. In particular, they have this welcome knack for derailing interviews, as the interview goes into many different topics, such as meeting in a production of Hamlet, tattoos, the zoo, and high heels (although the latter has been considered a fun highlight of the actual performance). Even funnier, look how they are joking around prior to being called up on stage while their song plays in the background.
