The Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne has announced that TESLENKO has requested to withdraw his participation in Vidbir 2025. TESLENKO had been featured on the longlist of artists from which the public can vote to select the 10th and final Vidbir entrant.
Beginning in January, Ukrainian fans will be able vote for the remaining ten longlist contestants through the Diya app. The winner will be announced by January 17.
The eligible artists are:

- ENLEO
- FIЇNKA
- GRISANA
- MON FIA
- Ranrawi
- Starykova Hrystyna
- YAGODY
- MUAYAD
- Sluchay Sashu
The winner will join the nine finalists already confirmed to compete in Vidbir:
- Abiye —“Dim”
- DK Enerhetyk — “Sil’”
- Future Culture — “Waste My Time”
- KHAYAT — “HONOR”
- KRYLATA — “STAY TRUE”
- Masha Kondratenko — “No Time To Cry”
- MOLODI — “My sea”
- Vlad Sheryf — “Wind Of Change”
- Ziferblat — “Bird Of Pray”
Vidbir 2025 will take place on February 8. The jury, selected via public vote, will consist of 2016 Eurovision winner Jamala, 2021 Eurovision contestant Kateryna Pavlenko, and singer Serhiy Tanchynets.
