Not too long ago, we were given the longlist of the 20 acts that had made it further into the Ukrainian national final, and now, 9 of them can get ready, while hope still remains with the remaining 11. Ukrainian broadcaster (Suspline) has finally decided who among the 20 artists, can prepare for the national final, which has now been set to the 8th of February 2025.

With no further ado, these are the 9 acts, which will participate in the national final:
- Future Culture — “Waste My Time”
- KHAYAT — “HONOR”
- KRYLATA — “STAY TRUE”
- MOLODI — “my sea”
- Ziferblat — “Bird of pray”
- Abiye — “Dim”
- ДК Енергетик — “Sil’”
- Masha Kondratenko — “No time to cry”
- Vlad Sheryf — “Wind of change”
When the songs will be released is still unknown currently. Meanwhile, the voting for the last finalists will be open to the public. Listeners can vote via the official app on who shall be the 10th and final finalists, who will join the rest of the line-up. The voting will be consisting of all the acts, who didn’t make it to the final, among the 20 originally longlisted participants, who in these recent days all took part in the auditioning process, in order to determine who qualified directly. The decision on who shall be the last finalists will start soon, which will make all the non-qualifying songs public. The final list of all finalists will then be decided by the 17th of January 2025.
Currently, another online voting is also ongoing, which gives the public the chance to decide, who will be among the juries, which will make half of the final decision on who will represent Ukraine at the contest. This vote will end on December 23rd 2024.
The national final will be decided by both the online selected professional jury and by the public vote. Hopefully this time, there will be no problems with the voting, as the public voting for the 2024 national final was delayed by a full day, due to an overload on the app.
