Slovenia’s “shagadelic softbois rockers Joker Out have released an English version of their Eurovision entry, “Carpe Diem.”

But for those who love hearing artists perform in their native languages at Eurovision, fear not! The band is still performing the original, Slovene version in the contest.

The English release of their entry is just one exciting update from the rising stars, who are currently in Liverpool to film the music video for another new single: their upcoming song “New Wave,” featuring the legendary Elvis Costello.

Recently, the band was also named among the top 100 artists to watch in 2023 by IMPALA – the Independent Music Companies Association.

Joker Out is performing 10th in the second semi-final at Eurovision on the May 11, 2023.

The band says their song “Carpe Diem” is a call to “all who know that life is more than what meets the eye.”

“This shagadelic dance anthem is a reflection of the band members’ year-round gigging and joy of life,” they said in a statement. “The message is simple: whatever life throws at you – music and dance are always the right answer.”
