Pesma za Evroviziju 2025
Pesma za Evroviziju or just simply known as PZE will in 2025 feature a total of 28 songs, which are expected to be split into two semi-finals, where a yet unknown number will qualify for the final. Overall expected to follow a similar format from past years.
These details will be made available at a later date, but for now, a busy task awaits. Festival editor Olivera Kovačević and music editor Uroš Marković have even shared that some familiar and big names are to be found among the submitted entries, but can’t reveal any further details at this point about who they are. The contest is currently seeing growing popularity, which explains as well the growing interest from participants as well.
The contest last year attracted more than 2 million unique viewers across both television and online streaming on the official Serbian broadcasting channels, and for 2025, the broadcaster (RTS) are in talks about getting the show streamed on the official Eurovision Song Contest account, in order to reach even more viewers.
As mentioned earlier, 222 applications had been received and the Serbian broadcaster has shared that the aim now, is to have the 28 names ready and decided by mid-December 2025.
The honor of representing Serbia in 2024, went to Teya Dora and her song “Ramonda“. In Malmö, Serbia just managed to sneak into the final, and in the end, finished on 17th place with a total of 54 points from the combined jury and televote score.
