The last semi-final of Melodi Grand prix is set to happen tomorrow, which means there are three more spots in the February 3rd grand final up for grabs. But this begs the question – who did YOU want to take those spots?
Well we opened our poll earlier this week and 72 votes were cast, with every artist receiving support.
To no shock, the clear favorite for our readers was former Eurovision artist and celebrated international pop stars KEiiNO, who received 38% of the total votes. If they are able to qualify tomorrow it will be their third appearance in the MGP final.
Taking second place is MIIA and her song “Green Lights” which will precede KEiiNO in the running order. Overall she received 15% of the voting result, or 14 total votes. And coming in third is show opener Vidar Villa, who received 12 votes total in the poll.
The full results of our poll are:
- KEiiNO – “Damdiggida” – 38% – (27 votes)
- MIIA – “Green Lights” – 19% – (14 votes)
- Vidar Villa – “MER” – 17% – (12 votes)
- MISTRA – “Waltz of Death” – 15% – (11 votes)
- Annprincess – “Save Me” – 8% – (6 votes)
- Thomas Jenssen – “Take Me To Heaven” –3% – (2 votes)
Tomorrow’s semi-final starts at 19:50 CET and will be broadcast live on NRK’s MGP website. The qualifiers will be selected by a 100% online televote and you can cast your vote directly on the website as well.
