Ana Vanchevska and Aleksej Ivanovski have officially released their song “Marathon,” representing North Macedonia in the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024. This duo aims to capture hearts with their latest track, showcasing their joint talent on an international stage.
The song “Marathon” features a composition by Lazar Tsvetkovski, with lyrics written by Magdalena Tsvetkovska.
The official music video for “Marathon” premiered during the 17:30 news segment on MRT 1, giving viewers an exclusive first look. The music video was filmed in several picturesque locations throughout Skopje, showcasing the beauty of the city.
Ana and Aleksej were selected to represent North Macedonia after a competitive audition process held at MRT Studios in Skopje.
Ana Vanchevska, born on May 3, 2010, in Bitola, has participated in numerous national and international singing competitions, including a recent representation of North Macedonia at the prestigious San Remo Junior Festival in Italy. In addition to her musical pursuits, she has earned accolades in academics, excelling in subjects such as mathematics, physics, and French.
Aleksej Ivanovski, born on December 7, 2011, also hails from Bitola and has made his mark in various singing competitions. He is an accomplished student, frequently winning top honors in municipal, regional, and state competitions in mathematics, English, and French. Besides his musical interests, Aleksej enjoys swimming, exploring nature, and building friendships.
