The poll for Supernova has been collecting votes for the last two days, and it’s time announce who YOU picked to qualify.

The semi-final on Saturday is set to feature fifteen acts, with only ten of them advancing to the final held on February 10th. Of those fifteen acts our readers had a very clear favorite as Dons received 16 of the 82 votes cast in the poll, which translates to 20% overall.

The next closest in the results was Katrīna Gupalo and her song “The Cat’s Song”, which picked up 11 votes from our readers. Unfortunately no write in votes were received for the Riga Beaver.

The full results can be seen below, with any ties being broken by the official running order:

  11. Sasha Sil – “Love Is A Language” – 4 votes (5%)
  12. Patrīcija Spale – “Heaven’s Raining Down On Me” – 2 votes (3%)
  13. Papīra Lidmašīnas – “Mind Breaker” – 2 votes (3%)
  14. Edvards Strazdiņš – “Rock n’ Roll Supernova” – 2 votes (3%)
  15. Jar of Kings – “Wildfire” – 1 vote (2%)

This means that according to our readers, the believe that Sasha Sil, Patrīcija Spale, Papīra Lidmašīna, Edvards Strazdiņš, and Jar of Kings could be out of the competition come Saturday.

The official qualifiers will be decided by a combination of votes from an expert jury panel and the Latvian televoting process. YOU can tune into the show at 20:10 CET live on LTV1.
