Andria Putkaradze of Georgia has won the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the ballad “To My Mom.”

Georgia swept the jury vote with 180 points – 58 points higher than Ukraine, which received 122 points from the juries. An additional 59 points from the public carried Georgia to victory with 239 points overall.

Runner-up Victoria Nicole of Portugal and her original ballad “Esperança,” (“Hope”) won the online vote with 117 points, earning 213 points overall, while third place went to Ukraine’s Artem Kotenko, who earned 203 points overall with the dance-pop-inspired number “Hear Me Now,” a tribute to his home in Ukraine.

Rounding out the top five were France’s Titouan with “Comme çi, comme ça,” a song about celebrating differences, coming in fourth; and Malta’s Ramires Sciberras taking fifth place with the emotional ballad “Stilla Ċkejkna,” inspired by the story of his own adoption from Cambodia.

With its fourth Junior Eurovision victory, Georgia now holds the record for the most JESC wins by any country. It was previously tied with France, which has won three times.

The contest took place at Madrid’s Caja Mágica in on November 16, 2024. The theme of this year’s contest was “Let’s Bloom. The live event was hosted by actor Marc Clotet, alongside two Spanish Eurovision alumni: 2014 Eurovision contestant Ruth Lorenzo, who represented Spain that year with “Dancing in the Rain,” and 2019 Junior Eurovision contestant Melani García. A few more familiar faces from JESC performed during the flag parade: 2004 winner María Isabel, 2023 winner Zoé Clauzure of France, 2023 runner-up Sandra Valero.
