After two exciting semi-finals on Monday and Tuesday, tonight we got to enjoy “Nostalgia night” in which competing artists performed the biggest hits of FiK history.
The excitement skyrocketed at the end of the night when 31 artists impatiently waited to find out whether they qualified for tomorrow’s grand final.
Just as a reminder, a panel of 11 jurors ranked, scored, and compared songs against each other to pick the qualifiers. Twenty Two lucky qualifiers will compete in the grand final hoping to represent Albania in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden.
Fourteen of the artists, known as established artists, were autoqualified for the final while a number of the newcomer performers were eliminated. The final line-up is now:

- Eldis Arrnjeti – “Një Kujtim”
- Elsa Lila – “Mars”
- Elrina and the Elementals – “Jetën n’skaj”
- Festina Mejzini – “Melos”
- Irma Lepuri – “Me prit”
- Kastro Zizo – “2073”
- Kleansa Susaj – “Pikturë”
- Mal Retkoceri – “Çmendur“
- Martina Serreqi – “Vetëm ty”
- Melodajn Mancaku – “Nuk jemi ne”
- Michela Paluca – “Për veten”
- Olimpia Smajlaj – “Asaj”
- PeterPan Quartet – “Edhe Nje Here”
- Sergio Hajdini – “Uragan”
- Shpat Deda – “S’mund t’fitoj pa ty”

In tomorrow’s grand final, on December 22nd, juries will decide the winner of the Festival, while the televote will decide who will fly the Albanian flag in Sweden next year. Keep in mind that all 31 entries for the festival are eligible to represent Albania in Eurovision – even if it did not make it to the final.
