Luxembourg’s national selection is back for another edition.
This time more than 60 artists have been registered for the first audition of the contest, with each competing artist being able to present multiple songs.
RTL’s Eurovision account on X announced that over 100 songs have been submitted.
The selection process has changed, as previously artists could enter the contest without a song with the chance to collaborate with songwriters later in the selection process. This change resulted in a lower number of participants in this year’s national selection.
The Luxembourg Song Contest will be back at the Rockhal on January 25th. Information about the ticket sales will be announced soon.
The winner will have the chance to represent the Grand Duchy at Eurovision 2025 in Basel later next year.
Tali won the last edition of the Luxembourg Song Contest with the song “Fighter” and represented the country at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö, Sweden. She qualified for the Grand Final more than 30 years after Luxembourg’s last appearance in the contest and finished in 13th place with 103 points.
